Based in North Bay, Ontario, the band was formed in December 2011 when singer-songwriters Brigitte Lebel and Serra Jade approached Mark Ritter (local guitar teacher and musician) to score the strings for an upcoming performance. The three of them started playing together right away and were eventually joined by Pat Madden on Bass and Rob Joanisse on Drums.
